Possible Website Move.

Hey

Ok guys I have been thinking about moving to another guild hosting site namely Enjin. Tolkien created a rough template for us and it really looks good. Now I had a few concerns cause it would require that everyone that hasn't got a enjin account to create one and then you just need to join Varangian Guards. But, you do not need to re-apply. I have disabled that for us. As theres no point if you guys have already applied to have to apply again.

The main I want to move as it makes us more alive as I think people haven't really joining us cause they may think we look dead. Which some people have mentioned after applying and joining us. Another reason is that we have a loot more user functionality aswell.

If you have a look and like what you see, join Varangian Guards if you already have a enjin account or create one then join us. Once more than 70% has join us on that site I will re-enable new applications.

Just had a look at the new site and to me it looks alot better.

Making the new site means we wont look so inactive on the front page anymore which might help attract more members, personally think this site is a little plain aswell compared to the new one.

Yea atm its just a frame for the new site but it look very nice.

The event calendar is quite nice and better than the one here id say, and i personally like the gallery that we can use to post screenshots from events so that potential recruits can see them, they wouldnt be able to if posted in general forum.

Personally I know Guildwork quite well so I'm bias towards Guildwork, and I'm not too keen on the look of the enjin sites… But really its up to you as you're going to be the one who does all the admin on it. So… meh.

I'm also playing with the front page right now to match it to the look of enjin. The only difference now is that people haven't posted screenshots and the such on this website so much so it wont look more active from that point of view. I'll be making a photo library momentarily so feel free to post all your screenshots there asap ^_-
