Hey

Guys I was reading a forum post about people that will be using a gamepad on the PC. The guys says its good for a relaxing play.

Personally I agree. I think when it comes down to fighting mobs solo or just gathering, I would like to lie back on my sofa, stretch out my legs and just play relaxed. But, when it comes down to group play I will come back to PC version mouse and kb.

What do you guys think?

I prefer keyboard/mouse since im personally alot fater with that then a gamepad, and i dont have a sofa in the tiny room in which my PC is lol.

I think that a gamepad makes the whole "targeting thing" a problem.
Especially if you are going to play WHM.

I want to try it for crafting/gathering because, if i'm not wrong, it will be nuts.

I played eqoa on the PS2, and you could cycle real fast between foes and friends with the shoulder buttons….

But I still prefer kb/mouse for an mmorpg.

agree for normal gameplay, my concern is towards FATEs…currently it's more an orgy of players and you can have on screen 20+ targets, maybe when there is a fair distribution of people in all areas targeting will be much less painful.
anyway don't envy ps3 users…

There is a easy solution for that. You just need to plug in a mouse. Then with a press of L1+R3 you can use the mouse to target just like with a PC.

I might have to look into using an xbox controller for gathering/crafting :P
