I've actually changed my mind and gone from a Conj to an Arcanist, 3 reasons really.

1 I found Conjurer way too boring up to 16
2 I will be starting in a city I haven't started in.
3 To go Summoner, Summoning Ifrit and Titan eggys is just too much of a pull :)
